Defining your brand, with amazing images

Branding images and headshots have never been more important than they are today.  They need to reflect your brand, and they need to be flattering.   For every  client, we include a pre-session consultation, to meet with you, get a sense of the image you want to convey, and to zero in on your brand.  From there, we’ll select the perfect location, clothing, and mood to accomplish that look. And it’s the same approach for  team photos, individual headshots or candid, on-the-job images… we want your company’s brand to shine through.  And of course, you need to look amazing, so we use our knowledge of lighting, lenses and angles to create the MOST FLATTERING images possible.  Check out some examples of our work…

Who says headshot sessions can’t be fun? Camden County Chamber location session

Whenever we’re brought in to do headshots for an entire staff, we really have to be pumped.  It’s a lot of people counting on us to make them look good. It usually takes hours of concentration and coaxing, and we need to bring it, big time.  So when we landed the plumb assignment of shooting the staff of the Camden County Chamber of Commerce this year,  we felt the gravity of the project.  After all, these images were going on the Chamber’s  website, and these individuals are very well known in the Camden County  business community.  We needed to make them look good, to say the least.  We think  we nailed it,  and they apparently  felt the same way.  If you haven’t been on the Chamber site recently and seen their new headshots, you can check out the results here.   The best part was we really had a great time with these folks.  There was much laughter, and silliness, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Yes, their headshots are terrific, but we love these ‘outtakes’. Check out Art, Bob, Debra and Mel here…how fun is this???

Learning, connecting, and growth…Delta Phi Epsilon Convention….not what I expected; event photography

Gotta be honest here…When the leadership of Delta Phi Epsilon sorority asked me to shoot their biennial sorority convention in Disney World this year, well, let’s just say I pictured something along the lines of a clique-y group of sisters getting together for fun nights, casual days and not much on the serious side. It’s Disney, right?  I certainly didn’t expect empowerment workshops, leadership seminars, and career networking. But that’s what this education-packed gathering at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort was about. Four days, 550 college students and alums, passionate about their DPhiE sisterhood, gathered to focus on their mission of leadership, service and empowerment. I should have known better. For the past two years, I’ve done the headshots for DPhiE’s Philadelphia-based International Headquarters staff , and I’ve been completely wowed by the character of each and every one of these women, at every contact I have had with them. What I learned working with so many “Deephers,” is that the thread that binds the entire membership is exactly what I witnessed every single day at convention. No joke…I have never been around this many women, mostly college-aged, and some a little older, who were absolutely considerate, pleasant, energetic and willing to work with us. There was not one groan, not one grumble, not one complaint..for college-aged women, can I tell you how unusual that seems to me? This sorority has done amazing work with their members. They clearly walk the talk, and for me, it made four days of hard work the most pleasant four days of work I have had in a long time.

Headshot photo session, on location, Haddonfield.

We recently had the opportunity to create some new headshots for Go Jane News founder Janet Garraty.  Janet was looking for something natural, that captured the smart, savvy style of her newsletter readership.   So we hit the streets of Haddonfield for an on-location, street-scene vibe. Not only do we love the look of these shots, but we had a blast doing them (even some passersby had to get in on the action)  Doesn’t she look smart and savvy?

Wanna get paid to shoot some photos at the US Open? Heck, yes!

One of my terrific clients, Steven Goldsmith of Ameriprise Financial,  is an avid golfer, so having the US Open here at Lower Merion was a great thrill for him.  It was a thrill for me too, when he hired me to go along with him to shoot a day of practice rounds.  And even thru sporadic and at times torrential rain, we still grabbed some pretty cool shots. First one out at the tee we staked out was Tiger.  Wow!
